Please consider me for your projects! I am currently working at my lowest rates in years, just because I need and want to work.  I am not cheap, for sure, but the quality of my work speaks for itself....I think.

Two years ago I posted about Poker Heroes, a mobile game I was working on. I was very hopeful them. Fast forward 2 years, I was laid off from the studio I helped build, my job prospects suck. But thank goodness I have my art. I think I might be in trouble if I didn't have that.

I revisited one of my drawings from about 2010 and it always bothered me.

During my search for a new job, I studied some painters and worked on creating some new brushes for photoshop and painted this up. .

For this piece, I did a "deep dive" on brushes/technique in photoshop and see if I could get a more illustrative look to my work. Plus, I was creating production buildings for over a year at my last job and doing some character work is helping me out of my creative funk after the layoff and the surgery.

Overall, I'm happy enough with it and I think I could be on to something this time. I could have noodled away at this for far too long so I am going to mark this as done and move on to the next creation

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is LIVE!!! Fat Rascal Games is proud to present POKER HEROES for worldwide consumption on the iOS App Store and Google Play. I did a bunch of characters for the game, so you'll see what I have been up to for the past 9 months. It's addictive and fun and if you like Poker and militaristic combat, you'll feel right at home.

Ok, unlike when I worked at Amazon, my current employers and awesome people to work with are allowing me to send some artistic love out into the interwebs.
